SUBSTANCE: method comprises the following steps: plaster and water mixture calcining at elevated temperature and pressure in a vessel to obtain an alpha-hemihydrate suspension; alpha-hemihydrate suspension transmission from the tank to the mixer for mixing with additional water to provide a curable suspension, which forms a plaster-based product upon solidification; alpha-hemihydrate suspension transmission from the tank to the mixer comprises the step of alpha-hemihydrate suspension temperature maintaining at a level above 70°C.
EFFECT: possibility of application of the allocated hot water power for plaster pre-heating prior to introduction into the container for firing, and the suspension is quickly cooled to a temperature favourable for particles hydration.
