FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a gypsum board and a method of producing a gypsum board. Gypsum board contains a gypsum middle layer containing a calcium sulphate dihydrate, and an anionic dispersant based on a linear polycarboxylate, containing first monomer repeating link and second monomer repeating link and not containing polyvinyl acetate monomer links. First repeating link represents one olefin fragment containing functional group of carboxylic acid, and the second monomer repeating link represents one vinyl sulphonate. Method of producing gypsum board comprises mixing water, hydraulic component, containing calcium sulphate hemihydrate and linear polycarboxylate to obtain a suspension, the weight ratio of water to the calcium sulphate hemihydrate in mixture is 0.2–1.5:1, depositing the suspension onto the lining sheet to obtain a gypsum middle layer, the suspension contains air bubbles in amount of 5 to 70 volume percent, providing conversion of calcium sulphate hemihydrate in suspension to calcium sulphate dihydrate and providing hardening of suspension to produce plate.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of strength, reduction of the number of dispersing agents with preservation of fluidity of the suspension.
