FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: blocking module is proposed with a housing, switch head, which can be connected to the lock cylinder for turning the switch head with a key, and a mechanical device for converting the rotary movement of the switch head into linear movement for the lock blocking and unlocking. The mechanical device includes a catch which moves linearly under the action of the rotary movement of the switch head. In the mounted state of the blocking module, linear movement actuates the mechanical device which causes lock opening or closing. To minimize the amount of parts, the switch head is rotatably positioned in the modular housing.
EFFECT: creation of simply manufactured blocking module with a small installation space for the lock.
