SUBSTANCE: rebated door lock comprises enclosing box-like housing to be arranged in door cavity with rebate; latch movable between extended position (E) and retracted position (R) in box body; drive means configured to move, by means of a control handle, along the opening direction (D_A) to move the latch from the extended position (E) to the retracted position (R). Drive means are movable, by means of a key-locked element, along the closing direction (D_B), opposite to direction (D_A) of opening, to achieve disengagement position (P_D), in which drive means cannot be engaged with said control handle, thereby preventing latch movement; wherein the drive means comprise locking means configured to lock the latch in the extended position (E), with prevention of its forced movement from outside into retracted position (R), when driving facilities are in disengaged position (P_D), disconnected from control handle.

EFFECT: invention relates to a door lock, in particular for a door with a rebate, and is aimed at simplifying and improving reliability of the lock; drive means are formed by movable element, which geometrical configuration provides the possibility of installing an optional gate valve inside the box body; movable element has protruding means for movement and locking of said optional gate valve.
