SUBSTANCE: method includes forming an infrared beam with the aid of a first optical system comprising an infrared laser, an infrared transparent light guide, a convex and concave spherical mirror. In addition, a visible radiation beam is formed by a second optical system including a visible-range laser, a transparent fiber in the visible region, a convex and concave spherical mirror. Next, the infrared and visible beams are combined with a plane-parallel plate with a reflective layer. The plate is placed behind the concave spherical mirror of the first focusing system. The plane-parallel plate and the second optical system are installed with the ability to provide simultaneous and accurate focusing of the beams at a fixed point of the object in such a way that the direction of propagation and aperture of the beams coincide.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the spatial position of the laser beam in the infrared region of the spectrum.
