FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a radiation source with two different wavelengths which is optically interfaced with a focusing system fitted with positioning apparatus, and a photodetector which is optically interfaced with the focusing system through a spectrum divider. The apparatus also has a controlled spectrum selector, with the required intensity ratios of light beams of each of the two wavelengths established at the output of the spectrum selector, and the focusing system has coordinate chromatism at the said wavelengths.
EFFECT: reduced cross coupling effect of photochromic layers of the multilayer optical disc when recording information and low probability of losing recorded information when reading.
