SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process cartridge and an electrophotographic image forming device in which the process cartridge is detachably installed. Stated electrophotographic photosensitive drum used in the process cartridge including regulating portion comprises: a cylinder having a photosensitive layer formed thereon, and rotatable about its axis, and a drum flange provided at one longitudinal end of the cylinder, and the drum flange includes a gear wheel surrounding peripheral portion of the drum flange, a hollow portion secured inside the drum flange and having an hole located on the side of the drum flange which is opposite from the cylinder, rim which is adapted to be regulated with regulating part to regulate the movement of the photosensitive drum from said one longitudinal end of the cylinder toward the other longitudinal end of the cylinder located between agear wheel and a cylinder and set off from the drum flunge in radial derection to a greater extent than peripheral portion of the cylinder.
EFFECT: invention allows accurate positioning of the process cartridge connecting element which is intended for receiving the rotating power from the main node of electrophotographic image forming device relative to transmitting the rotating power of the main node of the device, wherein the positioning takes place along the axial line of receiving portion transmitting rotating power, and also allows accurate aligning of the axial line of electrophotographic photosensitive element with the axial line of the main node of the electrophotographic image forming device interacting with it, and also allows accurate alignment of the axial line of the connecting element with the axial line of the main part of the main node of the electrophotographic image forming device interacting with it.
