SUBSTANCE: porous ceramic body comprises: a first end, a second end and a wall located between and intersecting mentioned ends, mentioned wall comprising at least three protrusions formed along the length of the wall and troughs located between each two adjacent projections, mentioned projections are rounded at the intersection of the wall with the first end and the second end, and the mentioned cavities are not rounded at the intersection of the wall with the first end and with the second end. The catalyst for epoxidizing olefins contains the above porous ceramic body, silver and one or more activators.
EFFECT: increase in packing density of the catalyst in the reactor.
