FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: expanding central part for stackable structural reactors, for example, a reforming reactor, may include a cone, expandable in the radial direction and extending load promoting the expansion cone. Cone and extending cargo may be slidably arranged on the central support. The expansion cone radially squeezes reactor components radially outwardly to the outer tube, which accommodates the reactor components and expandable central unit.
EFFECT: extension of the reactor components to the outer tube facilitates heat for catalytic reactions, and improve the heat transfer efficiency of the reactor.
