SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of elevated mines. Head for rotary drilling of the rising mine working in the rock contains a housing installed on the drive shaft and having a mounting surface extending radially outward from the shaft, a plurality of supports located on the mounting surface for installation with possibility of rotation of the corresponding rolling cutters on the housing, at least one guide block attached to housing with protrusion from mounting surface in position near support or at a distance from it, wherein the guide unit has at least one guide surface exposed to the crossing mounting surface to facilitate drilled out material movement from the mounting surface. At the same time the guiding unit is separate from supports and is formed not as one whole with them.

EFFECT: invention improves drilled material displacement from active cutting surface of head to prevent wastes in zone around it, prolonging service life of cutters and increasing drilling speed.
