SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an expandable central device for a reactor, a reactor and a method of installing an expandable central apparatus in a reactor. Expandable central device comprises an expanding pipe, a central support inside the divergent pipe and three or more spring elements, attached to the central support and extending arcuate to the expanding pipe. At that, expanding pipe is formed from rear ends of spring elements passing along spiral around each other and overlapping each other, and is separate relative to spring elements, and spring elements are pressed from outside to expanding pipe, and the divergent pipe comprises a sheet wound many times to form circumferential periphery of the pipe. Reactor comprises an outer pipe, an expanding pipe inside the outer pipe, an expandable catalyst support, occupying annular space between divergent pipe and outer pipe, and three or more bent resilient spring elements, located inside the divergent pipe to displace the divergent pipe towards the outer pipe, wherein the spring elements are mounted on the central support. Method includes inserting expandable central device into reactor and pressurized gas inlet into device expanding pipe, wherein spring elements counteract compression of divergent pipe after gas discharge under pressure.
EFFECT: extensible central device is easy to manufacture, assemble and install, and enables to save costs.
