FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to dielectric insulating medium, comprising a) fluoroketone which contains 5 carbon atoms, in the mixture with b) a component of the dielectric insulating gas different from fluoroketone a), in particular with air or air component, wherein the dielectric insulating gas has nonlinear-increased electric strength, which is greater than the sum of electric strength values of the gas components in the dielectric insulating medium. The mentioned insulating medium has a high electric insulating strength, what can be widely used in electrical devices for medium and high voltage electric power.
EFFECT: increased electric strength of the insulating medium, which is significantly greater than the expected obtained from a linear summation of electrical strength values of each individual gas component in the mix, is the technical result of the invention.
