FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Electric device (10) for medium- or high-voltage transmission line has gas insulation and comprises a sealed housing (12) filled with electrically insulating gas, including at least one fluorine-containing compound such as fluoroketone, at least one electrical component arranged within said inner space of housing (12), and means for regulating amount of fluorine-containing compound within said inner space of housing (12). Regulating means comprises means (22, 24, 38) for heating liquid (20), produced as a result of condensation of fluorine-containing compound, present in insulating gas to cause evaporation of at least part of said liquid (20).
EFFECT: technical result is providing control of gas pressure with simultaneous limitation of loss of generated heat.
