FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a body that encloses the insulation space and electrical component located in the insulating space, containing dielectric insulating gas, including fluoroorganic compound A. Also, the device includes a molecular sieve (1), contacting with the insulating gas, which has average pore size greater than the size of the molecules of one product of the decomposition of fluoroorganic compound A, being produced during the device operation. The adsorption capacity of the molecular sieve relative to the fluoroorganic compound A is lower than that of one decomposition product. In accordance with the invention, the device further includes at least one dehumidifier unit (2) arranged to contact the insulating gas.
EFFECT: preservation of the insulating space free of harmful decomposition products without deterioration of the insulation characteristics.
