SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining buckwheat seedlings consists in that seeds are washed with distilled water, while discarding the surfaced and damaged ones. Then the seeds are treated with catholyte and washed with distilled water again; for swelling, they are placed in a flat container, poured with electrochemically activated water with the pH of 8…10 (catholyte) and the redox potential of -98.2…-198.1 mV, at the ratio of buckwheat seeds and electrochemically activated water 1:2. They are placed in a thermostat for 2 h at the temperature of 20±2°C, then the excess water is removed, the further incubation of swollen seeds is carried out under moist conditions with periodic irrigation seed surface with electrochemically activated water with the pH of 8…10 (catholyte) and the redox potential of -98.2…-198.1 MV in the thermostat at the temperature of 20±2°C for 8 h before the appearance of sprouts with the length of 2-3 mm.

EFFECT: method of obtaining buckwheat seedlings allows to intensify the seed germination process, to increase the germination energy, to increase the percentage of growth parameters of relative control, to increase the yield of biologically and physiologically valuable biomass.
