FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: low-noise fan is made in the form of a frame on which a shaft is mounted in the supports, at one end of which there is a fan impeller fixed rigidly to the shaft, the shaft receiving rotation through a V-belt transmission from the electric motor located on the frame, the carcass of corners is rigidly attached to the frame for fastening to it through elastic gaskets of the fan case with inlet and outlet nozzles. The shells of the shaft supports are mounted on the frame through the elastic gaskets, and the shaft bearings are mounted in the support shells by means of resilient bushes.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of sound attenuation by increasing the sound absorption coefficient by increasing the sound absorption surfaces while maintaining the overall dimensions of the air handling unit.
