FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises obtaining a basis for grafting polymerization of monomers, grafting the copolymer phase to the substrate by graft polymerisation with the formation of an emulsion latex of the graft co-polymer of vinyl chloride, copolymer of vinyl chloride grafted branch in the form of solid latex. Conditions for carrying out the method such that the glass substrate temperature to graft is below the glass transition temperature of co-polymer grafted phase. The average size of the vinyl chloride graft co-polymer particles is below 200 nm.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain the graft co-polymers of vinyl chloride without the use of an external plasticiser which can be further processed into transparent films and moulded articles.
