FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of heat-insulating materials in the form of mats, namely the raw mixture intended for construction, in particular for multilayer vertical and horizontal wall panels, and for heat insulation of various structures. The heat-insulating material based on shredded waste paper, boric acid and borax as a binder comprises sintepon fiber with the average fiber length of 10-15 mm. Heat treatment is carried out at the temperature of 210°C and the duration of 10 minutes.
EFFECT: invention solves the problem of creating a transportable heat-insulating material in the form of mats on the basis of shredded waste paper, environmentally friendly, having low shrinkage, biostable, having high strength, water absorption, fire resistance, vapour permeability, and the ability to be used on horizontal, vertical and inclined surfaces.
