FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to the field of plant breeding. Method includes assessment of samples in grass mixed sets with cereal and mixed herb components and selection of survived samples more than 50 %. Assessment of samples is performed in budding phase of first hay 2–3 years of life judging by amount of internodes and generative stems. By the presence of more than seven internodes and stems more than five a perspective of initial samples for further selection estimation can be determined.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency.
