FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for switching-on, switching-off and regulating voltage of power transformer substations under load is proposed, wherein the power and efficiency coefficients are increased in substation power transformer and in electricity consumers, the current consumption is decreased, the voltage slumps and network losses in starting and stationary operation modes are reduced. The absence of an electric arc, switching losses and overvoltages on the windings of the power transformer are provided during a controllable switching-off of the substation. In addition, as in the prototype, the advantages of controllable switching-on of the substation are preserved. The symmetry of the magnetization currents and magnetic fluxes of the power transformer is not broken, which preconditions a reduction in losses in the magnetic circuit and predetermines the improvement of the mass-dimensional parameters. A suitable area of application are transformer substations of industrial enterprises with voltages of 35/(10-6) kV and (10-6)/0.4 kV, requiring compensation of voltage ΔU deviations in a narrow range ±10%. The most suitable area of application are furnace transformers of electric steel-making shops of metallurgical enterprises, in the arc technology of which an extended voltage regulation range is required.
EFFECT: starting currents in windings are reduced by half and electrodynamic forces on the windings of the substation power transformer are reduced by four times, improvement of energy indicators and dynamic properties of the transformer substation.
