FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: assembly design of the heat-insulating coating of the underground pipeline for installation in highway conditions contains at least two shells in the form of semi-cylinders, including a metal-polymer shell with a heat-insulating layer of polyurethane foam. The shells are connected with each other along the length by a zinc-coating steel plate, and the interconnecting seam between the shells is sealed with a hot-melt adhesive tape, over which a heat-shrinkable tape is mounted.
EFFECT: increased lifetime of heat-insulating coating due to increased corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of heat-insulating elements.
