FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method of automatic diagnostics of loads in an electrical power supply network is that at the beginning of a line a load control center is located. It at least consists of a microprocessor unit, a command transmitter and a sensor of the current consumed by the line. The control commands are transmitted via the communication channel by the command transmitter and received by the command receivers. Each receiver has one unique and several group addresses, receives and executes commands directed to one of its addresses. In this case, the loads are connected to the power supply line via a controllable power selection switch. The list of possible command codes, in addition to the commands of load connection and disconnection to the power supply line, includes commands of switching the power consumed by the load, to detect faulty loads. First, the commands of switching all the loads to one power mode are transmitted, then the current consumed by the line is measured. Further, a command of switching to another power mode is addressed to the next load and the current consumed by the line is measured. If the current in the line does not change by a predetermined value, the load is considered faulty, then the process is repeated for the next load until all the loads are checked.

EFFECT: provision of automatic localization of faulty lights without their switching-off and reduction of diagnostics time.
