SUBSTANCE: device of supplying and discharging the couplant comprises a block encoder ultrasonic testing (1) having a housing (47), the distribution unit (2) having a housing (4) installed inside the housing (4) airtight container (5) for storing couplant, and the combined path supplying and discharging the contact liquid (3) connecting the distribution unit (2) and the sensor unit ultrasonic testing (1) and which is a flexible tube of small diameter (34) disposed coaxially in the flexible tube of larger diameter (35) while the housing the distribution block has two pumps: one pump (9) connected to said container (5) and a combined supply and discharge path couplant (3) for supplying the contact liquid to the contact zone of the ultrasonic inspection sensor and the surface of the inspection object, and the second pump (22) to create a vacuum in the vessel (5) for drawing off contact liquid from the contact zone. New in the method of supply and removal of contact liquid during the ultrasonic inspection of the object is that the supply of the contact liquid and its withdrawal is carried out synchronously, and after the spent contact liquid is withdrawn, it is returned to the storage tank using two separate pumps, with the withdrawal of the contact liquid and its return is carried out under the action of a vacuum created by one of the pumps above the contact liquid in the storage tank.
EFFECT: improving processability process and technological design, due to the possibility of separate varying process parameters supplying and discharging contact liquid, including by synchronous feeding and discharging contact fluid and by the presence of quick connections between the path supplying and discharging the fluid and the distribution units and ultrasonic testing, as well as reducing the share of manual labor and improving the efficiency and environmental friendliness of the process operation of ultrasonic testing, due to the supply of and ode contact fluid in the closed automatic cycle and due to the possibility of accurate dosage amounts of the feed liquid contact.
