SUBSTANCE: axial polyphase contactless electrical machine contains chassis, sub-exciter, exciter and the main generator, mounted on the same shaft as enshrined in housing alternator bearing shields, sub-exciter consists of permanent magnet inductor multipolar axial sub-exciter and axial magnetic circuit with multiphase windings anchor of sub-exciter, exciter consists of axial magnetic core, in grooves which stacked single-phase winding excitation of pathogen connected to the multiphase winding anchor of sub-exciter through a full-wave straightener and additional excitation winding of single-phase exciter that is connected to a direct current source and an axial magnetic circuit with multiphase winding of the exciter armature, the main generator consists of an axial magnetic circuit with a single-phase excitation winding of the main generator.

EFFECT: reducing axial rotor dimensions, simplifying the assembly technology of electric machine-generator, increasing the rigidity of its designs and increasing the moment of inertia of the rotor.
