SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining a cultivated root of wild ginseng involves steaming the dried ginseng root or ginseng root powder in the high pressure steamer of closed cycle, with adding water in quantities of 1/50-1/100 of the steamer working reservoir volume. Thereinafter the first heating is carried out at the temperature of 80-100°C for 10-48 h under the pressure of 1.5-2 bar, and the second stage (ii), at which the cultivated root of dried wild ginseng is heated at the temperature of 100-500°C for 10-48 h, and the cultivated root is dried at the temperature of 90-100°C for 10-48 h with maintaining the same pressure as at the first stage (i). In addition, the first stage and the second stage are carried out with the maintenance of the parameters outlined at the stage (i), and thereinafter the first stage, the second stage, or both said stages are carried out again 1-10 times.

EFFECT: increasing the saponin and special ginsenoside content and increasing the productivity and economic efficiency due to simplifying the manufacturing process.
