SUBSTANCE: crescent wrench contains a handle with sponges of different sizes at the ends and a drive mechanism with movable sponges of different sizes. The handle is made in the form of a threaded rod, the drive mechanism with movable sponges is made with an internal thread. The thread of the handle corresponds to the thread of the drive mechanism with movable spongers, ensuring rotation of the drive mechanism with movable spongers relative to the handle. The contact surfaces of the handle and the drive mechanism are designed with a different roughness preventing movement of the handle and the drive mechanism relative to each other when they are locked in the operating position of the wrench.

EFFECT: simplifies the device and provides increased reliability of holding the key elements in relation to the specified position.
