FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric cantilever-type converter of the mechanical energy into the electrical energy contains the cantilever representing a cantilever beam made of a resilient material, on which piezoelectric elements are glued on one side (unimorph) or on both sides (bimorph). One end of the cantilever beam is fixed in the base. An additional added mass is fastened on the free end. Four piezoelements are additionally installed in the base, two above and two below with respect to the beam, having opposite directions of the polarization vector. The planes of their electrodes are pressed by means of the base elements to the conducting layers of thin resilient pads metallized on one side. The additional piezoelements can be made multilayered and are connected in parallel or in series.

EFFECT: increasing the power and the conversion efficiency.
