SUBSTANCE: wireless network contains a base station and relay station. The relay station is configured for communication relay between the base station and, at least, one subscriber station. The base station is configured for communication with the subscriber station through the relay station. Moreover, the base station is configured for the transmission of plural transport units in a subframe for a plurality of processes of hybrid automatic requests for retransmission (HARQ) to the relay station. Each transport unit corresponds with a different HARQ-process.

EFFECT: increased coverage of the relay system with the relay station using power-saving mechanisms.
