FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises determination of the first and additional pumps, determination of regulation parameters, inter alia, of pressure head in the pressure mains, control of regulation parameters, run-up of each additional pump at pressure head level in the pressure mains below the run-up value, regulation of the pressure head within the given pump run-up and shut-down values, shut-down of one of the pumps at pressure head level in the pressure mains above the given shut-down value. Pump feeding voltage frequency regulation is carried out by the law of PID-regulation. Pump feeding voltage disconnection frequency is additionally determined as regulation parameter and when the voltage frequency is below this particular disconnection frequency, shut-down of one of the pumps is carried out. Pump feeding voltage disconnection frequency is determined based on the experimental data.

EFFECT: improved energy efficiency of the system due to improvement of its efficiency coefficient during the pressure head regulation process in the pressure mains of a customer.
