FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: body (1) of the lock according to the invention comprises the box (3), the butt plate (2) and the bevelled tongue (4) of the lock. The bevelled tongue of the lock is arranged with the possibility of linear movement through the butt plate opening (11) designed for the lock tongue between the inner position and the projecting locking position. Moreover, the bevelled tongue (4) of the lock can be disposed in the projecting base position that is located in the direction of linear movement between the inner position and the locking position. The bevelled tongue (4) of the lock comprises the end portion (4A) and the rear portion (4B), the end portion being fixed to the rear part by means of the fixing screw (5). At least one side (3A, 3B) of the lock body (1) has an opening (7) located at the fixing screw (5) location area, when the bevelled tongue (4) of the lock is in the basic position. The bevelled tongue of the lock additionally comprises a recess (6) on at least one side. The recess is located at the location of the opening (7), when the bevelled tongue of the lock is in the locking position.
