FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device contains passive and active enclosures with hollow rods interacting with the loader, with specimen attachment points installed in them. The sample is made in the form of a figure of rotation with cylindrical protrusions at the ends. The casings are made of the same structure in the form of a glass with windows open on one side longer than the length of the sample, forming thrust evenly distributed around the perimeter of the shell. The thrust of one body is inserted into the windows of the other body with the possibility of longitudinal movement, with the ends at the ends being provided with an internal, annular radial groove with respect to the housing axis, which are moved inward by hollow pushers with external threads that are inserted into the respective radial threaded holes of the rods. Inside the pushers, mobile pins are connected to the stops, which are adapted to interact with the corresponding inner ends of the protrusion of the sample. The loader is made in the form of a press that interacts with the corresponding ends of the bodies.
EFFECT: elimination of an axial misalignment and plastic clamping due to smooth and centered gripping of the sample at break, simplification of the design due to lack of grippers with a special tearing machine and use a press for tearing specimens.
