FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment and can be used to determine the strength of materials on arcuate specimens, in particular for tensile and rupture tests of cut fragments of thin-walled pipes, as well as arcuate specimens cut from the rim of a car wheel in order to obtain a diagram of the deformation of their material under tension. A test device of an arcuate specimen is declared, containing two fragments of a guide with a bearing, mechanisms for fastening an arcuate specimen, grips connected to the rod of the loading device. Additionally, a clamping sleeve mounted on the fork was introduced, an adjusting nut mounted on the threaded part of the fork. Longitudinal horizontal grooves are made in the grippers with holders installed in them, while the holders are equipped with cheeks for stretching the arcuate sample, a removable clamp. A rectangular groove is made in the clamping sleeve, and corrugations are made on the supporting surfaces of the cheeks and clamps. The rods have a zigzag shape and are fixed on the carriages through the axle and the nut with the formation of a gap between the nut and the rod. In this case, a thread is made on the rod end, an angular opening limiter is additionally installed on the grip of a guide fragment, and counterweights are installed on the angular opening limiter, made with the possibility of moving along threaded rods installed in the threaded holes.
EFFECT: increasing the versatility of the application (testing arcuate specimens of different radius of curvature), increasing the measurement accuracy.
