FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: volumetric downhole motor comprises a housing with supply channels, a shaft rotatably mounted in the housing cavity having an outer semi-cylindrical blade slidingly in contact with the housing and a central channel communicating with the housing cavity by means of lateral radial holes. The supply channels are made by directed rounded turning to the middle of the height of the inner wall of the semi-cylindrical blades; in the central channel of the shaft, a longitudinal sinusoidal partition forming sectors is fixed; lateral radial holes with an entrance in front of the outer wall of the semi-cylindrical blades are held in the upper and lower shaft halves, at least two in the cross-section of each sector, with the lateral radial holes facing the shaft rotation facing the concave surfaces of the sinusoidal septum, the rear lateral radial apertures are oriented towards the front exit.
EFFECT: achieving steadily high values of torque on the shaft and reducing hydrodynamic interference to its rotational motion.
