FIELD: soil or rock drilling; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of wells, namely, to downhole hydraulic motors. Volumetric downhole motor includes housing consisting of upper and lower parts, detachably rigidly connected to each other, annular cavity with bottom and semi-cylindrical blades. Upper and lower parts of the housing have coaxial central channels. Upper part represents cylinders placed one into another and connected by semi-cylindrical blades and forming annular cavity communicating with central channel of upper part of housing by means of through holes made on inner cylinder above bottom of annular cavity. Below the through holes the surface of the central channel is made with polar ledges longitudinally facing in the direction of rotation of the housing, on the lower part of which there are grooves passing from the central channel, in the form of a spiral passing along the axial line of the housing along the periphery and going out opposite to rotation of the latter.
EFFECT: elimination of contact friction, increased value of starting torque of volumetric downhole motor to operation and increased value of torque of housing for drilling of wells, that is improved power characteristics and reliability of operation of the three-dimensional downhole motor.
