FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method of processing a received radio signal in a multipurpose multitapped (G-multitapped) receiver which includes a sequence of symbol passing. In addition, the method contains stages at which a set of approximate blocking weight factors is evaluated at the first pass; a set of soft pilot symbols is identified in a sequence, wherein the soft pilot symbols are modulated by the modulation of the order which is lower than the other symbols in the sequence; approximate blocking weight factors are used to coherently combine the extension retrieval values corresponding with the soft pilot symbols to create the symbol evaluation; strict symbol decisions are taken without using a decoder for the symbol evaluation on the basis of the collection used for transmission; strict symbol decisions are used as demodulation pilot symbols in order to assess corruption covariance matrix by a non-parametric method; a set of qualified blocking weight factors is evaluated at the second pass using an assessed corruption covariance matrix and all the traffic data is combined using qualified blocking weight factors.
EFFECT: improved data capacity.
