FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device carries out one or several operations of received signal processing on the basis of correlations of chip samples before expansion dump, and not correlations of noise after expansion dump, at the same time information of soft scaling is preserved by determination of one or more scaling coefficients, which relate correlations of chip samples with noise correlations. A wireless communication receiver realises a method to process a received signal of code division multiple access (CDMA), including a reference signal and a data signal, which consists in the fact that one or several scaling coefficients, which relate correlations of chip samples detected from chip samples of the received CDMA signal, with correlations of noise, detected from values with dumped expansion of the reference signal, and one or more operations of received signal are compensated, among those there are the ones using correlations of chip samples, according to the ratio between the correlations of chip samples and correlations of noise, on the basis of one or more scaling coefficients.

EFFECT: improved properties under certain conditions of fast fading.
