FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: integrated equipment for the survey of oil and gas wells includes a nuclear logging unit containing spectrometric probes with capture gamma ray detectors - induced gamma-ray spectroscopy logging (IGRSL), probes with thermal neutron detectors - thermal neutron decay-time logging (TNDTL) and a spectrometric probe with a natural radioactivity detector - spectral gamma-ray logging (SGRL), as well as an electromagnetic flaw detector unit - EFD. In operation gamma-ray radiation intensities are recorded with the help of the IGRSL unit and the SGRL probe with simultaneous periodic recording of the EMF conducted in the EFD coil by eddy currents which are induced in steel pipes by the electromagnetic field decay caused by a sounding impulse of the magnetizing current in the transmitting coil. The recorded signals of the IGRSL unit and the SGRL probe are accumulated, broken into data fragments and transmitted to the surface during each probe pulsing cycle of the magnetizing current of the transmitting coil, after which the data fragments are restored into a single array at the ground station.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the survey of oil and gas wells.
