FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of tribology and specifically relates to a method of producing an anti-tearing additive containing fragments of double bonds CH=CH and thereby facilitating adhesion of the additive to friction surfaces. Method comprises reacting potassium sulphide obtained by dissolving sulphur in a hydrazine hydrate-KOH system at temperature of 55–60 °C and molar ratio KOH:S = 4:1, for 2 hours, with chlorlignin with content of chlorine of 2.4 or 3.4 wt% and vinylidene chloride at temperature 25 °C and molar ratio of sulphur:vinylidene chloride = 1:1, weight ratio of sulphur:chlorlignin = 1:2. After stirring for 5 hours, the product is separated by filtration, washed with water and ethanol.
EFFECT: obtaining an additive providing protection against wear in heavily loaded friction assemblies.
