SUBSTANCE: invention represents bis (hydroxymethyl) phosphinic acid and its salts with biogenic metals of the general formula Men+[OP(O) (CH2OH)2]n (I), where n can be 1 or 2, and Me can be any of the series: H, Na, Ca, Mg, Co, Cu, Zn, Mn. The claimed compounds of the formula (I) are effective regulators of plant growth and development, acting at concentrations of 1⋅10-7-1⋅10-12%.
EFFECT: pre-sowing treatment of seeds of grain crops of wheat, corn, rice with the claimed compounds increases the germination energy and germination rate, the growth force of plants, the length of rootlets and shoots increases, the crop yields and the grain quality are increased, which expands the range of effective environmentally friendly regulators of plant growth and development, acting at the level of natural phytohormones.
