FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: in order to increase oil content in sunflower seeds, the seeds are treated with aqueous solution of Melaphen at a strength of 1·10-4-1·10-9 g/l as a plant growth regulator.
EFFECT: increase of viability and germinating ability of the seeds, increase in productivity and oil content in the seeds of this culture.
