FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: essential oil distillation unit comprising a sealed steam boiler and a digester provided with a steam line with a coolant and a florentine, the digester being provided with a set of lattice cassettes in the form of a closed ring housed inside it and at the top of the digester there is an essential oil vapor collector. The cassettes are made of lattice of chemically resistant fabric, which is a flat, thin structure, permeable to steam, and connected in a closed ring on a Mebius strip.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the productivity of the process and simplify the design.
