FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: friction device comprises a table with a rigid base, a motor, a fixed headstock in which a drive shaft is placed in bearing support, one end of which is through a coupling connected to the motor, and the other - with the drive head with the counter element, which is pressed against the end face of the sample using mechanical a system of levers, wherein the sample is fixed in sample-holder located on a movable headstock shaft, and the shaft rotates about its axis and moving along the axis for transmitting force to the sample using a mechanical system of levers. The moment of friction is balanced by pendulum, which is rigidly connected to the sample-holder with the definition of the scale of the moment. The fixed headstock is designed as a drive unit, consisting of two housings. The outer casing is mounted on bearings on the inner housing, a housing for the bearing of the drive shaft bearing at one end through a coupling is connected to the motor shaft with frequency regulation of revolutions and at the other end of the motor shaft mounted counter element in the form of clips, isolated from the drive shaft sleeve and washers from insulator. To the side surface of the roller is pressed against a spring loaded electrical contact for removal of triboEDS and movable headstock is designed as a measuring system - tube, which is coaxially disposed with the drive shaft, wherein the following are movably sequentially accommodated: sample-holder, mounted on the spline on the stop consisting of a roller and cage and mechanical system for creating a normal load, which consists of a strain gauge force clamps, placed between them with the calibrated spring and the screws abutting against the clamp and placed in the threaded lid tube measuring system. Efforts of torque through the retainer on sample-holder is transmitted to the driving arm, which is rigidly connected to the outer housing in which two rows of slats abutting are symmetrically horizontally arranged against the first row through the adjusting screws in the strain gauges in the uprights rigidly associated with the base, and a second series of strips is a measure of "static friction" with a locking screw drive shaft. Adjusting screw of one strap of the second row rests on a strain gauge force loadable from below through a spring screw, placed together with the load cell force in the vertical stand on the ground, and the other strip of the second row to their adjusting screw abuts the indicator knob (displacement transducer) on a bracket on the base, with this wear indicator triboparah measured placed on the pipe.
