FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method to conceal delay on the attacker's device platform comprises prediction of the attack results, forming a strike event containing the delay period before strike, which is attributed with a unique strike identifier. Strike event is delivered to the defender's device, wherein initialization includes an extended delay period before strike. Further, response to a strike is transmitted over the network to the attacker device, wherein it is identified by the same identifier with the strike event. Wherein the response to a strike contains animation to be displayed at initiation of the response animation period. Method to conceal delay on the defender's device platform comprises transmission of the strike event to the user's device from the attacker's device, containing a unique strike identifier. Next, it is determined whether the strike event was a successful attack, a response to a strike is generated comprising information identifying one or more animations that will be displayed at initiation of the response animation period. Response to a strike is transmitted over the network to the attacker's device, wherein it is identified by the same identifier with the strike event, and one or more animations are performed. Method to conceal delay on the observer's device platform comprises transmission of the strike event to the observer's device from the attacker's device, containing a unique strike identifier. Response to a strike is transmitted from the defender's device to the attacker's device, wherein it is identified by the same identifier with the strike event. Further, initiation of the response animation period is implemented after determining that one or more attack animations are completed, by the observer's device. Platform of the attacker's, defender's and observer's devices comprises a processor, a memory coupled to the processor, and one or more instructions implemented in the memory for execution by the processor. Instructions are made to implement the method to conceal delays on the attacker's, defender's and observer's devices.

EFFECT: elimination of delays during transfer of data between user devices participating in a multiplayer online game.
