SUBSTANCE: agrochemical composition comprises: i) at least one wetting agent; and ii) at least one agrochemical active. The wetting agent is an esterified and/or esterified polyol alkoxylate obtained by direct esterification and/or esterification of the polyol alkoxylate. Mentioned esterified and/or esterified polyol alkoxylate has the general structure , where P is a polyol residue, mentioned polyol contains m active hydrogen atoms, m is an integer in the range of 2 to 9; AO represents an oxyalkylene group; each n is independently an integer ranging from 1 to 100; the total number n multiplied by m is in the range from 10 to 300; each R1 is independently hydrogen, C₁-C₂₈-hydrocarbyl or an alkanoyl group represented by -C(O)R², where R² is C₁-C₂₈-hydrocarbyl; and wherein at least one R1 is or contains C₈-C₂₈-hydrocarbyl.
