SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to agriculture, in particular to methods and compositions for plant treatment. A method for plant treatment provides spraying of water-based liquid on plants in amount from 80 l to 500 l per hectare, while liquid contains water, plant growth regulator – calcium prohexadion and fungicide protioconazole, amount of calcium prohexadion is from 20 to 400 g per hectare, and amount of protioconazole is from 20 to 500 g/ha, where the ratio between the growth regulator and fungicide is from 1:0.6 to 1:4. Water-based liquid is obtained by dilution of a composition for plant treatment in the form of a liquid dispersion or in a granular form, containing the growth regulator – calcium prohexadion and fungicide protioconazole, where the ratio between the growth regulator and fungicide is from 1:0.06 to 1:4.

EFFECT: proposed method for plant treatment by water-based spraying liquid obtained by dilution of a composition for plant treatment in the form of a liquid dispersion or in a granular form, containing a growth regulator – calcium prohexadion and fungicide protioconazole, where the ratio between the growth regulator and fungicide is from 1:0.6 to 1:4, provides synergetic action of the plant growth regulator and fungicide, which consists in effective reduction in a height of a stem of seed crops.
