FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical rehabilitation and correctional pedagogy, and specifically to the method of child's mental capabilities activation in a reduced state of consciousness after a severe craniocerebral trauma (SCCT). Correctional and pedagogical classes with the child are conducted by a teacher with the participation of a close adult. Classes are conducted in a certain sequence, differentially, depending on the capabilities and dynamics of manifestations of child's mental activity in interaction with the adult. Taking into account the neurological status of the child, the following series of exercises are carried out consisting of five stages: teacher interaction with the child with the participation of a close adult with inclusion of an emotional component in hospital; teacher interaction with the child with the participation of a close adult with sensory component activation; sensory component stimulation in the process of joint manipulative actions with a teacher's object with the child with the participation of a close adult; activation of joint or independent subject-play manipulations of the teacher with the child with the participation of a close adult; activation of independent instrumental and subject-play actions of the teacher with the child with the participation of a close adult under the conditions of correctional training.
EFFECT: method allows to identify and activate child's mental capabilities in case of SCCT at the early stages of rehabilitation by gradually integrating the child into an accessible form of interaction with an adult in a specially organized communication situation through manipulative, subject-play and household activities.
