FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves first carrying out purposeful clinical psychological examination of child appearance. Its psychomotor development features like psychomotor ill-being, tactile sensing disorder forms, mental stress and neurotic tendencies are revealed. When studying cognitive activity conditions using talks of medical and psychological nature, specific memory properties like perceived impressions remembering, storing, reproducing, classifying, selecting and processing are additionally detected. Attention features like its maturity, redirection, concentration and stability are observed. Spatial images received by a child are evaluated after having analyzed speech activity correlated with general mental development level, object- and practice-oriented functioning and social adaptation. Personality specific like volitional processes development, senses differentiation and stability, aspirations and incentives duration are revealed. Total fund of knowledge and ideas as well as emotional and volitional sphere are evaluated. Quantitative estimation of development according to all criteria in four-grade system with qualitative characteristics being taken into consideration is carried out. The results are compared to age-specific development reference values with each characteristic taken into consideration.
EFFECT: high accuracy and effectiveness of the differential diagnosis method.
