FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: mechanically controlled shunt reactor contains O-shaped magnetic circuits arranged in a row. Their bases are connected by lower yoke bridges. The network windings are arranged so that each of them covers the lateral vertical sections of two adjacent O-shaped magnetic circuits. Between the upper yokes of the O-shaped magnetic circuits there are movable bridges made of permanent magnets with the horizontal direction of the magnetic field. The movable bridges are equipped with a servomechanism ensuring their movement in the vertical direction.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability, simplification, loss reduction.
