FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: suppressor contains the rectangular shaped housing, rigidly connected to the end inlet and outlet branch pipes, the sound-absorbing plates made of the frame, containing the perforated sheets, filled with the sound absorber and located in the housing with the certain pitch and forming the flat channels in it, and the acoustically transparent material is located between the sound absorber and the perforated sheets. The sound absorbing element is made in the form of the rigid and perforated walls, between which there are two layers: the sound-reflecting layer adjacent to the rigid wall and the sound-absorbing layer adjacent to the perforated wall. The layer of sound reflecting material is made from the complex profile, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect acoustic waves incident in all directions.
EFFECT: noise suppression efficiency improvement.
