FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: suppressor contains a square housing rigidly connected to the end inlet and outlet nozzles, sound-absorbing plates made of a frame containing perforated sheets filled with a sound absorber and located in the housing with a certain pitch and forming flat channels therein. The sound absorbing element of the sound absorber for sound absorbing plates is made in the form of a rigid and perforated walls, between which two layers are positioned: a sound-reflecting layer adjacent to the rigid wall and a sound-absorbing layer adjacent to the perforated wall. The layer of sound reflecting material is made from complex profile composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect acoustical surges incident in all directions, and the basalt-based mineral wool is used as the sound-absorbing material. The surface of fibrous absorbers is treated with porous air-permeable paints.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise suppression.
